This piece is a playful still life scene with vibrant colour and pattern. Another nod to my French heritage with the continental breakfast of butter croissant, orange juice and double espresso. A jar of honey is in reach, should you want something sweet, with a hungry Honeyeater perched atop. A vase with banksia flowers adorns the table, and an oil painting hangs on the wall. Art within art is a theme I enjoy, and I like to think that this naked sunbather is also called “Honey”, and so, every day is a Breakfast with Honey!
